Later this evening, we went to the Adams' house for dinner and Chris told Sean how proud he was of him. That he had noticed (Sean happened to pass the Sacrament to them as well) how reverent Sean was and how respectful he was of the ordinance. He said that he could tell Sean understood what he was doing and what it represented, and that he could see that Sean understood his role as a Deacon as it pertains to the Sacrament more than most of the other boys. Sean grinned from ear to ear and said, "Thanks". I told him this was an example of the fact that, even when you don't realize it, people are watching you and looking to you for an example.
He's told me he's already counting down the days until he passes again. Maybe this time he will take the hardest route; going up on the stand and passing to the Bishop.
